A1 Dug Excavations is a privately owned business whose reputation has been passed on by our many satisfied customers. Commencing in 2006 we have excavated our way through many and varied large and small jobs both in the public and private sector.

Our Yanmar 5 tonne excavator ("Dug") now has a big brother, “Big Dug” – a Yanmar 8 tonne excavator - and together they can tackle all your excavating needs. Not only can we dig your dam or pool, we can also remove any size tree including the stump! And rock is no problem! We have the attachments for any excavation task including drilling.

We have upgraded our truck to a 13 tonne tipper which comes with a 14 tonne tag-along float, giving us more versatility to transport your equipment or materials.

Our ASV RC50 Positrack skid steer loader (bobcat) not only works in confined spaces but with its rubber tracks will be gentle on your lawn. The Positrack ensures a perfectly smooth finish to your road or driveway. It also comes with a forklift and a cement mixer attachment.

For the farmer we offer our Kubota tractor, with mulcher, spreader and wick roller for your weed control and pasture improvement requirements.

We also have a fully portable Lucas Saw Mill which gives us the capability to supply hardwood timber any size up to 6.2 metres.
